Ki Aikido School
The Ki Aikido School is a non-profit organisation with headquarters in Frankfurt am Main. It was founded by Radu Robutu Sensei.
Radu Robutu Sensei started Aikido in 1991. In 1992 he became a direct student of Mervyn Williams Sensei, Technical Director of The Ki School of Aikido Britain.
Mervyn Williams Sensei, practiced Aikido as a student and assistant to Kenneth Williams Sensei, Technical Director of the Ki Federation of Great Britain*.
Kenneth Williams Sensei was the first non-Japanese assistant of a Japanese teacher, Kenshiro Abbe Sensei. Through Kenshiro Abbe Sensei, he also had the chance to meet Mutsuro Nakazono Sensei, Masamichi Noro Sensei, Nobuyoshi Tamura Sensei and Hiroshi Tada Sensei. Twenty years later, Williams Sensei met and practiced with Koichi Tohei Sensei.
Koichi Tohei Sensei is the founder of Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido* (Aikido with coordination of mind and body). He was a direct student of O-Sensei Morihei Ueshiba, the founder of Aikido.
